On the 21st of December, Lady Gaga had her last show of the Monster Ball Tour in Paris, France. In the end of her last song, she threw her Armani shoes into the audience, must be cool if you catch those shoes but hopefully nobody got the shoes on their head, hehe ;-)

Yesterday, I got two really fun packages in the mail. One was a package with some awesome nailart things in it such as two crack nailpolishes for example and more which I had won at http://glamourtogo.be/. The second package was a handmade soap that I had won via http://pearlandswirl.blogspot.com/. You could win one out of two soaps, you had to choose which one you would like to win and why you would like to win a handmade soap. I chose the soap Twi-Light because of the name sort of but also because the description of it sounded great! :) When I smelled it the first time, I just thought it was de-li-ci-ous! :D I can't stop smelling it, haha ;-)


Gisteren kreeg ik twee erg leuke pakketjes in de post. 1 pakketje was gevuld met geweldige nailart spulletjes zoals twee crack nagellakjes bijvoorbeeld en wat meer wat ik had gewonnen op http://glamourtogo.be . Het tweede pakketje was een handgemaakte zeep die ik had gewonnen via http://pearlandswirl.blogspot.com . Je kon 1 van de 2 zeepjes winnen, je moest eentje kiezen die je graag zou winnen en waarom je een zelfgemaakte zeepje wilde winnen. Ik koos de zeep Twi-Light zeep vanwege de naam maar ook omdat de beschrijving ervan heerlijk klonk! :) Wanneer ik het de eerste keer rook, dacht ik dat het gewoon heerlijk rook! Ik kan niet stoppen om eraan te ruiken, haha ;-) D

Als half belgische en half nederlandse, groeide ik vooral op met nederlandse TV-series en progamma's dus hier is een lijstje van van TV-series en progamma's die ik vroeger graag keek :-)

After the first shoplog, I thought it was fun to do a second one because I shopped a little bit again recently :) 

Besides the many great Dutch beauty gurus that I like on YouTube, there is also a beauty guru on YouTube that I like who is not Dutch. She is English and comes from Manchester. You can consider her as one of the more alterative beauty gurus on YouTube like she said herself one time I believe. I'm talking about www.youtube.com/punkchyaz also known as Chyaz. She is like me also an Avril Lavigne fan, she even did a pink streak in her hair like Avril had during "The Best Damn Thing" era which looks really great on her! I adore her hair, she has such pretty hair (she is pretty from herself too of course :D). But besides Avril she also likes other music artists of course like The Pretty Reckless (I like them too by the way), Emily Autumn and many other artists. She is also a lovely person, she is both on the inside and outside great! I just came home from the movie "Narnia : Voyage of the Dawn Treader" and like the two previous movies I liked it! What I always like about the movies of "Narnia" are the special effects, the beautiful landscapes, the story and of course the characters such as Aslan the lion. That lion is sooo pretty and amazing <3


In any case, I had a great evening despite I couldn't go to the "Burlesque" movie due to traffic and weather problems so I'm happy! :)


I really enjoyed this movie just as much as the two previous ones.

Hey everyone! 


Because I couldn't go to the "Burlesque" movie today due to traffic and weather problems, I chose to go and see the movie "Narnia : The Voyage of the Dawn Treader". It's also a movie that was on the "movies I want to see" list so in the end I sort of compensated it. It's not "Burlesque" but at least I will go and see a movie in the cinema that I wanted to see as well tonight. I have heard it's really good and I really liked the two previous movies of Narnia. You can read a review about the movie here.


I'm happy that I will still see a movie tonight :-) Luckily, the movie is in a cinema which is not so far away as the cinema where the "Burlesque" movie was. 


Of course, I'm still planning to see "Burlesque" soon too before it is out of the cinemas.

Door de weersomstandigheden en de problemen met het openbaar vervoer kan ik helaas niet naar de avant-première van "Burlesque" gaan. Ze raden mensen ook aan om zo min mogelijk de deur uit te gaan met dit weer. Er zijn trouwens ook veel defecte treinen door het weer en er zijn veel vertragingen bij het openbaar vervoer. Daarnaast is er ook nog eens meer sneeuw gevallen vannacht. Ik woon helaas niet dichtbij de Metropolis van Antwerpen anders had ik er wel gemakkelijker heen kunnen gaan misschien. Ik vind het echt zeer jammer, keek er zo naar uit. Jammer maar helaas, je wilt ook niet je leven riskeren en misschien te laat komen ook nog hé.

Zoals meeste van jullie hebben gelezen, had ik een duoticket gewonnen voor de film "Burlesque" waar in Cher en Christina Aguilera spelen maar door de weersomstandigheden en de vele vertragingen van het openbaar vervoer weet ik niet of er heen zal kunnen gaan morgen :( :/ Ik hoop het natuurlijk wel maar ja even afwachten en zien dus.


Wilde dit alleen even delen met jullie. Hebben jullie recent nog problemen gehad met het openbaar vervoer door de weersomstandigheden?

As some might have noticed, I'm a real fan of watching movies, especially romantic, drama, comedy, chickflick and feel good movies :-) But I also like a few fantasy movies such as Twilight, Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia, hehe. In any case, I thought it was fun (especially since Christmas is coming up) to share some of my favourite chickflick/feel good movies :-) What are your type of favourite movies?




"What a girl wants" (I always get teary in the end of this movie, ugh :P And I just love the romantic songs in it, yes, I am a hopeless romantic girl, haha)

Had recent de Brusselse Kerstmarkt bezocht en dacht dat het wel leuk was aangezien het bijna Kerstmis is om wat sfeerfoto's te posten van de Brusselse Kerstmarkt. De Kerstmarkt heet Winterpret of Plaisirs d'Hiver in het Frans. Hebben jullie al een Kerstmarkt bezocht of zelfs meerdere en zo ja hebben jullie al wat spulletjes gekocht op een Kerstmarkt? Trouwens het gastland van dit jaar is Marokko dus ze hebben een grote tent waar ze allerlei Marokkaanse spulletjes te koop stellen zoals echte Marokkaanse theeglaasjes en theepotten. Ze serveren daarnaast ook heerlijke muntthee die 1,50 EUR per bekertje kost en je hoort af en toe ook echte Marokkaanse muziek wat heel gezellig is. Ongeveer twee weken geleden had Serena van www.beautylab.nl een winactie waar je een boek kon winnen genaamd "Mini Shopaholic" geschreven door Sophie Kinsella. Het enige dat je moest doen is zeggen dat je mee wilde doen en zeggen welk speelgoed je altijd wilde hebben toen je kind was maar uiteindelijk nooit had gekregen. En de gelukkige winnaar was ik, yay! :-) Ik was natuurlijk erg blij, vooral omdat ik ziek was in die week en ik kon wat leesvoer gebruiken + iets om mij op te vrolijken ;-) Deze week, had ik het boek ontvangen in de post en ik wil Serena bedanken die het zo goed ingepakt had in bubbeltjes plastic + voor het lieve kaartje dat ze erbij had gegeven. De kaart zei "Gefeliciteerd met je prijs. Veel plezier met lezen. Serena Verbon". Bekijk haar website omdat het geweldig is maar ben er zeker van dat de meeste Nederlandse mensen haar website al kennen ;-)








Ik zal het waarschijnlijk beginnen te lezen nadat ik klaar met het laatste Harry Potter boek (ja, ik weet dat ik een beetje laat ben met dat maar nadat ik het eerste deel had gezien van de laatste film van Harry Potter, moest ik gewoon weten hoe het eindigt. Geen spoilers aub voor degene die al het gelezen hebben ;-) )


Zijn er enige boeken die jullie lezen op dit moment? Ik vind dat de herfst/winter ideaal is om boeken te lezen :-) Vorige herfst, las ik alle Twilight boeken (in het engels want dat verkies ik, het klinkt meer natuurlijk voor mij dan) in 1 maand :-) Verkiezen jullie bepaalde boeken te lezen in het engels of je eigen moedertaal?

For the ones who are a fan of Lady Gaga, today they finally unveiled all the wax figures of Lady Gaga at all the Madame Tussauds. Lady Gaga is the first person to have a wax figure of herself all over the world. Amazing eh? In any case, if you're wondering how they look like, here is the first wax figure of Lady Gaga which is in Amsterdam. We are still missing photos of the wax figures of New York, Las Vegas and Hollywood by the way but we will get to see those later.

Hey fellow Gossip Girl fans!


Anyone saw the latest episode of Gossip Girl named "The Townie"?


In any case, I saw it of course and I have to say that I really liked the episode! 


We finally know who Ben is, I already sort of suspected that he was connected with Serena's past. Ben Donovan was basically her boarding school teacher and for the rest, you just have to see the episode for yourself. It was great to see flashbacks of Serena's past, it made everything so much clearer.


Now another thing, it was funny to see Blair and Dan together on their roadtrip to find Juliet, haha, they are like a cat and dog together. Some people think that they might end up together but I don't hope so, Blair belongs with Chuck and Dan with Serena I find. Anyone with me on that ? ;-)


I find it good that Juliet finally told the truth to Serena by saying that she had done everything to Serena etc. Hopefully they will be able to get Ben out of jail for something he didn't do. Can't believe that Lilly signed that paper, pretending to be Serena who signed it. But on the other hand, Lilly has done things like that before for the sake of her reputation and the family. Everyone has turned against her now because of that and she is even planning to sell the Bass industries while Chuck Bass didn't know about that until Rufus told him that this episode. Well, what can I say, what goes around, comes around.


And the end was amazing, Serena who visits Ben, so looking forward to see the next episode which will air on the 24th of January 2011. Yes, you read it right, we Gossip Girl fans will have to wait a while until the next episode will be aired. At least a month without Gossip Girl, nooo, haha.

On the 1st of December, Lady Gaga and co decided to sign off from Twitter and Facebook until they had raised $1,000,000 for an AIDS campaign and on the 6th of December they reached their goal! They were back alive with $1,000,125 and I have seen that people are still donating which is good of course! =) Ryan Seacrest seemed to be very happy yesterday night as he tweeted (www.twitter.com/RyanSeacrest): "I'M ALIVE! We've raised $1 million to help KCA fight AIDS! Thank u guys SO MUCH for all u did! http://bit.ly/9odTZt" .


Really amazing, after 6 days they did it. They had a lot less before that by the way, apparently a big pharmaceutical company donated about $500,000 if I'm right.


Anyway, that's what I wanted to say, in case you didn't know yet that Lady Gaga and co are back alive digitally.
