I have always said to myself if Eminem ever comes to Belgium, I have to see him live and a couple of days ago my sibling (who is also a big fan of him since the beginning like me) told me guess what, Eminem is coming to the festival Pukkelpop this year and I was like no way, really??? I have to get a ticket no matter what! :-)

And so just now, I bought a ticket for the 19th of August and I can't believe I will see him live, I hope I will be able to get a good place :-)

It has been 10 years ago that Eminem was in Belgium and Belgium is the only European country which he will visit this year so that's really an honour I would say! ^_^

Are any of you going to Pukkelpop this year or any other festival? Have fun in case you will go to a festival :-)

Leighton Meester and Vera Wang did a great thing on Thursday evening for a good cause. They switched the lights from the Empire State Building to red and white to raise more awareness to leukemia and other blood-related cancers.


The event was sponsored by the Coty-DKMS Linked Against Leukemia partnership.  Coty is the maker of Vera Wang's new fragrance and Leighton Meester is the face of that fragrance.


Leighton said this during the time of the event:


 "I am glad to join Katharina, Bernd, and Vera in their fight against leukemia and to celebrate the 5th Annual DKMS Gala.  The Empire State Building will shine red and white tonight to honor the thousands of patients awaiting life-saving bone marrow transplants and inspire anyone eligible to get swabbed with DKMS and save a life!"

As a Harry Potter fan that I am I was so excited when I saw the trailer of the second part of "The Deathly Hallows" this morning. Anyone else who is excited like me? ^_^  I hope they didn't change too much from the book in the movie.

Someday I hope to visit the Harry Potter theme parc in Florida by the way :-) Any of you guys that would like to visit that theme parc someday as well?

Avril has recorded the music video of her second single "Smile" some days ago and now we have the cover of the single thanks to www.avrilbandaids.com + we found out that the music video will be released on the 16th of May. Looking forward to see how it will look like, apparently there are people in it smiling (hence the title of the single, haha). I think it's a fun song, a song that actually makes you smile.

Yesterday it was another new episode of Gossip Girl, there are only two episodes left now, exciting! Especially because Blair has 3 men adoring her so who will she choose in the end??? She always wanted to have a fairytale so I'm very curious with who she will end up with.
Highlights of this episode (SPOILERS ALERT):

-Blair gets a box with a shoe which she left in France with Prince Louis from Monaco who she met last Summer and just like Cinderella she meets her prince but it has to go in secrecy else he has to go back to France. Unfortunately they soon find out where the prince is and he is almost being sent home but Blair comes with a plan to fool his guards by pretending that she is with Dan Humprey. Blair and Dan share a kiss at the Petty In Pink party and Charlie (the cousin of Serena) records it and of course everyone sees it directly on the Gossip Girl website. Mission achieved and Blair can date further with the Prince  of Monaco but this is not so fun for Dan because he realised that he doesn't want to be friends only with her when Charlie talks about the kiss that they shared and that she saw that he really likes her, poor Dan ...

Today I was at the big animal fair called de Beestjes & Baasjes beurs and it was really fun! It was warm and really crowded but I still enjoyed it :-) Someone of my family relatives was presenting her cute dog by the way during a presentation of different dog races, her dog is sooo adorable! It's a Pomerian dog, the small version because they also have big versions. Besides that I also hold an owl on my arm near the end of the day, it was a great experience and they are so soft.Then there was the catshow which was fun to see, one of the nominees was a Bengalcat, I would so love to have a cat like that one day but I like Mainecoons, Brittish shorthairs and some others cat races too :-)

Scream 4 is out and many people think it might be not good because it's already the 4th movie but I have to say that I found it surprisingly good. So here is what I thought of it. WARNING: SPOILERS ALERT.


The introduction: This was really well done, they were already misleading you here (even though I had the feeling already that it wasn't the start of the movie yet). You discover that you are watching a movie in a movie in another movie. They were calling it  a Twilight Zone the girls in the movie.


Then it starts, two girls get killed when they are all alone at home, how typical, right. And so the investigation starts, we see all the characters from before such as Dewey who is married to Gale (who was a journalist before) but also some new ones who work for the cops as well. We see for example Adam Brody who plays the role of Detective Hoss who we all know from the serie "The O.C." as Seth Cohen.

Well, I'm back in my country as the Summer holidays are almost coming but before I came back, I did some shopping in Sweden but also some in my country.

The things I bought in Sweden are two pieces from the H&M Concious collection, the top was the last one in my size and it was in the final pieces and it had a small spot on it but luckily I got some reduction for that spot which was 10% off so that made me happy, yay ^_^ The second piece was a skirt which I found so cute, I don't know yet with what I will combine it but I guess I will find something, I just had to get it because it was so cute.

Gossip Girl is back! Who watched the newest episode of Gossip Girl from yesterday just like me? I was happy to see my favourite serie Gossip Girl again ^_^ When I saw Chuck Bass in one of the first scenes, I was already like "oh yes, Chuck Bass is just amazing", haha.

Let's start with some points of this week's episode. WARNING: SPOILERS.

Lily is probably going to jail after the photoshoot that she did with her family and we finally got to see her sister who is all grown up now because before we only saw her sister in an episode about Lily's youth, it was fun to see Lily's sister all grown up. And we got to see her daughter Charlie which is the cousin of Serena. Her mother Carol was hiding her daughter all these years away from the society where Lily and Serena live in but when she finds out thanks to Serena that her own mother is a hypocrite, she decides to live with Serena and her family, who wouldn't like that? Hehe. But ehm, Carol said to Lily that they should carefully watch over Charlie, what has happened? Uh oh ...

Yesss, our waiting is almost over! In two days, Gossip Girl returns, I missed it a lot, haha ;-)

So, what happened last time? Lily is probably or might be going to jail and there is something special blooming between Blair and Dan, oelala ;-) Plus, poor Chuck found discovered something about his dad which wasn't so great to hear. As last, what about Raina and Nate, you guys like?

Today, it was a lovely day again with the sun shining and I met up with friends. My friends and me have baked things before like a blueberry pie once for example and this time we decided to make a carrot cake which you can often find here in restaurants and cafes. It's really delicious. This time we made it totally ourselves like we do usually, the lemon cake from some days ago was just a thing that I wanted to try it out for fun because it seemed so easy to make it and it was, hehe. But I do have to say that I prefer to bake cakes/pies and cook meals totally myself., it's just more fun then. Do any of you guys bake or cook sometimes and if so, what  is your favourite thing to bake or cook?

The ingredients of this carrot cake are (this one was called Oscar's carrot cake so we didn't make the traditional one I think because there was another recipe on the website which was called a carrot cake):

2 eggs, 3 dl granulated sugar, 3 dl grated carrots, 1 dl canola oil, 1 teaspoon baking powder,  1 teaspoon bicarbonate, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of salt, 3 dl of flour.

Then for the frosting you need 50 grams of butter (soft), 100 grams of philadelphia cheese, 2 dl of icing sugar, 1 eating spoon of a lemon.

It was a lovely day today and when I was in the supermarket I saw this very easy bake your own lemon cake package and decided to try it out. It said that you only had to add water and that's it. The result was delicious ^_^

Do any of you guys bake some cakes sometimes or muffins? Some weeks ago I made muffins for example and that was fun to do.

I had heard this song quite a few times on the radio but never knew by who it was, haha. I recognized the melody from an old song but the whole song itself was new so I knew it was a new song. And now I finally found out that it's sung by Jennifer Lopez.

It's just so Springish/Summerish, love it ^_^




The melody that I recognized in this song came like I already thought from the song "Lambada" by the group Kaoma. A song that was played a lot by parents when I was a little girl which is why I recognized the melody from somewhere. Ah, it just makes me long for the Summer already.

This Monday,  I ordered for the first time something from the Swedish beautyshop "Grand Parfymeri" on their webshop http://www.grandparfym.se/. I have to say I was really satisfied with the shipping. It got posted on Tuesday and I had already received it on Wedneysday.

Now what did I order? Skincare products of Dermalogica as my Yves Rocher products had run out. I chose for Dermalogica because I had received a Dermalogica travelkit for Christmas last year and I was satisfied with them that I wanted to use those products again.

I got Special Cleansing Gel, Multi Active Toner and Skin Smoothing Cream.

By the way, to the people who use Dermalogica products, do the letters also dissapear on your products after a while when water has come on it?

Furthermore, I also received two fragnance samples and I'm loving the one from DKNY ^_^

Twee of drie weken geleden ontving ik het boek van de nederlandse schrijfster Yolande Schyns die een aantal maanden geleden haar eerste debuutroman heeft geschreven genaamd "Opening Night" en ze werkt nu ook aan een tweede heb ik gehoord.

Ik had er al heel veel over gehoord via www.beautylab.nl onder andere en het verhaal sprak mij direct aan dat ik het zo snel mogelijk eens wilde lezen.

Het verhaal gaat over een jonge dame in de 20 genaamd Loulou en ze werkt als een fotografe bij een studio tesamen met Jane die al heel lang haar beste vriendin is. Maar dan krijgen ze er een nieuwe collega bij omdat de vader van Jane, die de  baas van de studio is, dat wilde. Helaas botert het niet zo tussen Loulou en de nieuwe collega die Tanja heet. Tanja doet namelijk vanaf het begin al raar tegenover Loulou vergeleken met Jane. Na een korte tijd imititeert ze zelfs de looks van Loulou en natuurlijk vraagt Loulou zich af waarom ze dit allemaal doet. Dit kom je allemaal later te weten. Naarmate het einde van het verhaal, wordt Tanja op een dag vermist. Loulou wordt een hoofdverdachte in het onderzoek omdat de ouders van Loulou wisten dat het niet zo boterde tussen haar en hun dochter. Verder vertel ik niks meer omdat het anders geen verrassing meer is.

Well, this man who lives in Washington DC found it very amazing that there was like noone except for him in the metro and what did he do? He celebrated it with some craziness and dancing, haha.
