First of all, I'm happy that "Inception", "Toy Story 3" and "Alice in Wonderland" received some awards congratulations!

Now onto the part that I always like the most, the pretty dresses on the red carpet but of course there were also dresses that I didn't like so much.

Oh, this song just gives me nostalgia when I hear it again. I still remember the day when the video had just come out, I found the song and the music video so awesome that I kept on playing it which led me to knowing all the words of the song. I'm talking about "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne!

Some behind the scenes of Gossip Girl photos again. I like the white coat that Leighton Meester is wearing, she just looks great in general. What do you guys think of her coat?

In the fall of  2009 I went to New York City with my partner, I really fell in love with that city since day one. I wouldn't mind visiting it again someday, haha.

Anyway, the month that we went to New York City the song "Empire State of Mind" came out by Alicia Keys and Jay-Z. That song reminds me of New York City hence, of our trip. Really like the song.

I was watching "Heroes" this evening and I was wondering why they stopped it because it was one of my favourite shows. Apparently they didn't have enough viewers or it wasn't popular anymore. This led me to making a post about series I watch now and series I used to watch such as "Heroes.


Series I watch now:


-Gossip Girl, I think everyone who reads my blog knows by now that I just loooooove that show. It's just awesome, no further comments.


-Two and a half men: Even though they are having a break because of Charlie Sheen who has some drinking problems, I'm still watching this show. I've read that they will soon continue again because Charlie Sheen won't be long in rehab.


EDIT: thanks to jbrobeck we know now that the show will probably not come back anytime soon because of something that Charlie Sheen recently did. You can check out the comment about it below in the comments.

I chose the song "Trumpets" by Flipsyde because my partner was really into this song when we just started to see each other. I also think it's a great song.

This one wasn't so hard for me to choose because I have dedicated this song when a family member had passed away. This song really made me cry back then because the lyrics were describing everything I was feeling at that moment. This is just an amazing and a very suitable song for funerals.

It is "Slipped Away" by Avril, it's really worth listening to it (and also watch the performance), the lyrics are so beautiful. Avril herself wrote this song for her grandpa who passed away a few years ago during a world tour.

I was there! Had received an invitation just like all other members of Yves Rocher to come and check out the new and renovated Yves Rocher in the city. They only have one Yves Rocher in the whole city, can you believe that? They have a lot of Body Shops here but only one Yves Rocher in this city. I was asking them why there was only Yves Rocher in the city and they said that they would like to expand Yves Rocher as well.

First of all, there was a long row, I didn't expect that many people to show up and neither did the people of Yves Rocher. During the waiting time, we got these lovely macarons (yummy!) and champagne, yay!

And with the invitation we also got a free lipbalm in the end, you could choose between strawberry, raspberry, vanilla and coconut and I took the strawberry one. Very handy gift when it's so cold right now.

I think the shop looks much better now, more inviting because of the lightning in the shop and yes, it looks very good organised. Well done Yves Rocher!

Believe it or not but when Avril wasn't even known or famous yet, I used to be a fan of Destiny's Child. I even went to a concert of them and it was great! Beyoncé really sounded amazing live. Anyway, the song that makes me happy is is "Happy Face" from Destiny's Child.

A new week, a new episode of Gossip Girl. Did anyone watch this week's episode like me?

SPOILERS ALERT:
I don't have so much to say about this episode except that even though I'm a big fan of Blair and Chuck, I'm starting to like Blair and Dan together. They are so cute together as friends but I have the feeling it might become more than that soon. A potential couple? Talking about potential couples, I have the feeling that Nate will fall for Raina Thorpe, anyone who thinks the same as me? And oh, Serena and Ben are such a cute couple.

Second of all, can't that Damien just stay away from everyone? He will ruin everything again, as he went to Russell Thorpe, that doesn't promise anything good.

And as third, Vanessa has come back? Oh no, I was glad she was gone, LOL, I don't know, there is something about her that annoys me, haha. Anyone with me?

This was not easy to decide because just like the first task, there are so many songs out there which you don't like or which annoy you but especially in the 90's I didn't like anything by Moby. There is just something about his music that I don't like.

Day 01-Your favourite song

It was really difficult for me to only choose one but I'm going for "Man In The Mirror" by Michael Jackson. The lyrics and the music video are so beautiful.

I think the coat really suits her and I like the shoes!

1. My eyes- Since I was born, I have really deep blue eyes and people usually notice my eyes first. I'm proud of my eye colour.

2. My freckles- I used to dislike them as a child but as I got older, I actually started to embrace them and I find them alright now. Not everyone has them so why not embrace it instead?

3.My skin- I'm quite content with how my skin is, it has really fine, small pores. Don't often have problems with it. It is dry though but for the rest, I'm satisfied with it.

4. My nose. Well, my mom and my partner say that I have a cute nose so I take their word for it, haha.

5. My face. My partner said that one of the things that he likes about me besides my eyes and nose, is for example my face. Apparently I have a cute and sweet face? Don't know myself, haha.

6. My ehm two coconuts in the front? Haha- Yes, I have to say that I'm quite content with the size of my coconuts, I wouldn't want them to grow bigger though, I think they are fine like they are right now. It's not easy to run with them but I'm satisfied with them.

7. My wrists- They are thin and I like that.

Yesterday it was Monday which meant another new episode of Gossip Girl, woohoo!

So, what did you think of this week's episode? I liked it (when wouldn't I like an episode of Gossip Girl though, haha).

First of all, I think Serena and Ben are quite cute together and second of all, am I seeing Blair and Dan being together in the future perhaps? I think they are funny together and also sort of cute, don't know why, just my opinion. I thought it was sweet when Dan held her hand when she discovered that the thing between Chuck and Raina was real indeed just like Serena told her.

Talking about Chuck and Raina, I find it quite sad for Chuck that he lost Raina now but who knows she might come back again and hopefully for Chuck, he will be able to keep Bass industries. I also hope that he will be reunited with Lily again because she is indeed his only family and where are you without a family?

And, oh no, it seems like Eric is in trouble because Damien is back, pfff. I was happy that Damien was gone and now he has returned. That promises for a lot of trouble and action next week. What do you guys think he is up to? Something evil at least.
