Review: La Source from Crabtree & Evelyn

I was looking for quite a while for handcare products that wouldn't irritate my hands because the Hand Hemp Protector cream from the Body Shop didn't do me any good. After doing some thinking and searching on the net, I came across handcare products from the brand Crabtree & Evelyn which seemed very good to me.  I had read good reviews about it so I thought why not try it out. So yesterday I got them and I immediately tested them out because my hands were so dry. I bought the La Source handcare products from Crabtree & Evelyn which contains a fresh sea air smell and I have to say it does really smell fresh but of course that's a personal opinion. The first product is an exfoliator which also moisturizes at the same time and the second product is the actual handcream which moisturizes your hands and keeps them even softer. Anyway, here are some photos of how the products look like and what I think of it.

The exfoliator which is called Hand Recovery :

This is what it says on the back of the packaging: "From the first treatment, your hands will look smoother and feel noticeably softer. Our unique Hand Recovey formula, with conditioning seaweed extract, exfoliates and moisturises in one step -  revealing softer, younger-looking hands."

On the back of the tube they say this: "For best results, use 2 or 3 times per week. Apply while hands are dry. Massage well over hands, front and back. Rinse off with warm water. Pat dry and follow with Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy to maintain softness."

On their website they that the fragnance is relaxing sea air fragnance.

My opinion about this exfoliator? I like it! It really gave me softer hands when I used it for the first time. I like the fact that it has seaweed extract in it and it smells so good this product.

Now onto the product that makes it complete, the actual handcream which is called Hand Therapy :

This is what it says on the back of the packaging: "Our intensive conditioning hand cream leaves hands feeling softer with each use. Formulated with macadamia nut oil, shea butter and seaweed extracts to moisturise and soothe hands, and myrrh to help condition cuticles and nails.
Apply as needed for daily moisturising."

And on their website they describe the scent as relaxing sea air fragnance.

Sounds good too, no? At least, I think so. After I had used this product, my hands felt even softer and they smelled really good thanks to the fragnance of fresh sea air. Of course it's not precisely like sea air but it does smell fresh I find. A plus point for me is that it even takes care of the cuticles and the nails. And loving the formula they used for it.

My conclusion: I can only say good things about these two products so far, I'm really content with these products. I have never had such soft baby hands before as now. It was well worth the money I find. I paid 109 SEK for both which is about 12 EUR each. I bought them at www.eleven.se as you could see in a post from yesterday. Unfortunately their website http://www.crabtree-evelyn.com ships only to the U.S. but I bet you can find it at other places too, I hope so at least. For the Dutch people, I saw La Source products on these websites http://www.crabtreeshop.nl/shop/information.php?info_id=1 and http://www.veroniquejager.nl/shop/, don't know the websites though.

If you have any more questions or things you missed in my review, please don't hesistate to ask.

Would you buy these products, if yes, why? And if not, why not?

Xoxo
