I totally loved it! How could I not love a Disney movie though but still this one was just wow, I liked it so much!

SPOILERS ALERT :
This Disney movie is not like the other fairytales of Disney, this time it's not a damsel in distress waiting to be rescued, no, she Rapunzel only wants to see the lights that they lift up in the air every year at the kingdom on her birthday. In the movie, she meets this guy Flynn Rider, later on he reveals that his real name is  Eugene Fitzherbert. Anyway, in the movie she makes a deal with him, she gives him the bag back with the tiara in it that he stole from the kingdom (which is her tiara by the way but she doesn't know that yet) if he first shows her the lights in real life on her birthday. After having distracted her evil "mother" Mother Gothel, she is finally able to leave the tower where she been locked in for 18 years and the journey begins.


There are a lot of hilarious moments during their journey such as the part where they meet the gang in the Duckling pub (they start singing a very fun song there which is "I've Got A Dream") and of course because it's Disney, Rapunzel and Flynn/Eugene start falling for each other during their journey. Unfortunately, Mother Gothel quickly realises that Rapunzel is gone because of a horse that she sees, this horse is hilarious by the way and his name is Maximus. As soon as she realises this, she of course wants to get her back because else she can't stay young forever. For the ones that don't get it, Rapunzel has magical hair that heals and it glows when she sings a special song. When she sings that song to someone, it can heal a wound and also keep that person young forever. When Mother Gothel meets Rapunzel again, she is trying to convince her that Flynn/Eugene doesn't like or cares about her at all and that he just wants to be with her so that he can get the tiara back again. But luckily in the end, she realises that this was not true at all what Mother Gothel said and that he does care about her in the same way as she does for him. He doesn't even want the tiara anymore, he only wants her, ahwww. Rapunzel realises this when he comes back for her (after almost being hanged at the kingdom) to save her from the evil Mother Gothel, he does get stabbed by her but as it's Disney, you can guess what happened, right ? Even after Flynn/Eugene cut her hair off so that Mother Gothel can't use her anymore for her magical powers, she is still able to heal him by magical tears. The most beautiful scene was right there for me, especially the part where Flynn/Eugene says "you were my new dream" and Rapunzel says back to him "and you were mine". Such scenes make me sooo teary, I swear, it was too sweet and romantic and sad at the same time. And then when he wakes up from her healing tears, he says such a cute thing which is "Rapunzel? Did I ever tell you that I have a thing for brunettes?". Ah, so so so cute! I somewhere had the feeling already that they would fall for each other in the end and that they would end up living happily ever after. Another favourite scene of mine was when she was finally reunited with her real parents, sooo touching.





I can only say good things about this 50th Disney movie, to be honest, I find it a lot better than the previous one which was "Princess and the Frog". I would give "Princess and the Frog" a 7,5/10 and "Tangled" 10+. I just loooved it so much and the songs in this movie were so great. It was just like the old Disney movies again, it was so magical. The characters in the movie were amazing, besides Rapunzel and Eugene, I just laughed so much when there was a scene with Maximus or Pascal, haha.

So go and check it out if you haven't seen it yet, especially if you're such a big fan of Disney movies as me. Thanks Disney for making such an incredible Disney movie just like in the old days!
