Let's talk : Gossip Girl - 5.03 - The Jewel Of Denial

WARNING : SPOILERS!
After that, she goes to Louis and tells him the same news but that he is the father. He says he is very happy but Blair thought he wouldn't as he told in an interview that he wasn't ready to be a father yet. Louis then explains that he just said that to protect Blair and that he of course is happy to become a father. They hug each other. But what do we see then? The letter that Blair had ripped apart (before Dan got a new one) is being hidden by Blair herself in a drawer. My opinion? I think Blair lied to Chuck and that he is the father of her baby (I hope so at least!) and that she just said to Louis that he is father so that she doesn't cause a bad repution for herself and the royal family. In any case, I really think that Blair & Chuck belong together! In the final scene of this episode we also see Chuck being mentally in pain and his dog (which he got from Dan to make him feel again) laying beside him. He is so much in pain that you see him cry, I felt so sorry for Chuck, just wanted to go there and hug him ;-)
Next is Nate & Diana, they are still going on and she hires him to work for her. Unfortunately Nate later thinks that he is just there for fun and that she doesn't take him serious. Diana says of course not and she gives him a task to do at the fashion show in NYC. Unlucky for Nate that he by accident let something slip to a couple and makes them get a divorce, he feels terrible and tells Diana about it. She tells him that she is honestly not interested in New York's elite and that she just wants to discover their secrets and scandals. Nate then says that she should just look at some of their phones as they have been taken away in the beginning of the fashion show. She tells him that he is brilliant and does what he proposed. Nate takes all the phones, except the one from Blair & Dan (probably because they are his friends). What he doesn't know is that one of the phones that doesn't have name tag on is the one from Ivy aka Charlie Rhodes, the "cousin" of Serena. Later that evening, they look at some of the pictures that people have on their phones, to be continued ...
Then we have Ivy/Charlie Rhodes (so called cousin of Serena) who has returned to NYC. Serena tells her that she will first talk to her mother Lily about it and that she is sure that Lily will welcome her with open arms. Unfortunately this is not the case when Ivy hears them talking to each other about her. She tells Serena that she will go back to where she was because she heard the conversation between Serena and her mother Lily. Serena really thinks that she can persuade her mother but "Charlie" says that she really has to go back, before she sees Serena she also calls her previous boyfriend to tell him that she is coming back and that she hopes that he can forgive her. Serena says alright but can you bring something back for me, Charlie says of course, that's the least thing I can do for you. But she gets a surprise when she does that because the people at the fashion show say that she can model and she is like but I'm not Serena, I'm just dropping this off for her. The lady says, yes, you're her cousin Charlie, right. Charlie gives in and puts on the dress that is there for her to wear. She sees Blair there too and Blair says "Forget what your mother wants, Charlie. It's your life. What do you want?".
She agrees with Blair and just goes for it. During the fashion show, she meets Lily & Rufus though, she is a little bit shocked because she doesn't know what to do now. She asks Lily to not say anything to her mom please (even though it's not her real mom but she is playing Charlie like we all know). Lily is by the way free again because thanks to sweet husband Rufus, her ankle bracelet got desactivated. She is very happy of course and can't say thank you enough to her husband Rufus. And who is there as well? Carole aka the fake mother of Ivy or the sister of Lily. Carole confronts Ivy and says that she can't believe that she thought that she could get away with this. Ivy says that they welcome her with open arms. Then Carole says that she is coming back with her to LA and Ivy says no, I want to stay here. Carole says it's not up to her and Ivy responds to that as yes it actually is. Ivy says that she can't do much about it and that if she calls the police, that she will gladly tell them how Carole hired an actress to play her daughter to get access to her real daughter's trust fund. Carole says that she wouldn't dare to do that but Ivy says she would. They go back to the party and suddenly Carole is all okay and plays along. Back home at the place where Lily & Rufus and the children live, Ivy really decides to stay and Carole plays along once again but tells Ivy that she is on her own now.
Last thing is Dan who decides to publish his novel anyway as the publisher convinces him to do it and see what happens. In this episode he receives his own copy of his novel "The Inside" and as we can see in the promo for next week's episode, all his friends get to read the book as well and the reactions are priceless, LOL.
