I thought it would be the last episode but the real finale is next week apparently, I think they decided to divide the big finale in two parts or the very last episode is just next week. Anyway, this week's episode was amazing! What a cliffhanger but I think the cliffhanger of the season finale will be even bigger, it has always been like that with Gossip Girl so I think this time as well.

WARNING SPOILERS ALERT:

• Blair got engaged last week with prince Louis and in this week's episode she has her engagement party. Serena is not invited for that party because of what she did last time (she showed Blair's past to Queen Sophie) but when Rufus tells her that Blair still loves Serena no matter what she did, she decides to come to the engagement party. She apologizes to Blair and says that she does really want Blair to be happy and they are hugging each other (how sweet). In this episode Queen Sophie tells Louis that she had Blair followed and discovered that Blair went to Chuck after the proposal and he can't believe it and decides to follow Blair during the day when she walks away after a walk with him and his mother Sophie. He sees that she goes to Chuck again but this time she wants to warn Chuck that his evil uncle Jack Bass is in town and he should be careful whatever his uncle is going to do. Prince Louis faces Blair and tells her that he knows that she went to Chuck (twice), she says she just wanted to tell herself that she got engaged and that the second time she wanted to warn him because she saw his unce Jack Bass in town. He finds it noble of her but tells her that he wants to know everything of her if they are going to get married, also her past. In the evening, there is a fundraiser party at Constance and Blair goes upstairs because apparently "someone" called her and said that Chuck is asking for her. That person told her that he is going to do something dangerous but everything seems to be fake because Russell Thorpe is there instead of Chuck Bass and it seems like he was to do something to her, then bang, the episode ends there, what a cliffhanger!

• In the meanwhile we have Jack Bass, the uncle of Chuck Bass who was called by Raina Thorpe because she wants to have revenge on Chuck Bass because she thinks that he and his father are the cause of her mother's death. Jack Bass and Nate Archibald confront Chuck Bass about it and they take him somewhere together with the security. But later on, it seems like nothing happened because they all go to Russell Thorpe, during the confrontation they discover on a tape that Russel Thorpe was the one closing the hotel building and being the reason that his wife died in the fire. Chuck says that if he doesn't want to go to prison that he should leave New York City for good and so Russell leaves. Unfortunately, Nate has told Raina that her father killed his own wife/her mother after she gets angry at him that he defends Chuck for what he did and that Jack cancelled the whole plan of getting her revenge. She calls her dad and says that she knows, in denial he says that Chuck was lying and that she should come and have a dinner with him. She says no and says that he is dead to her just like her mom is. Because of this everything changes of course and he decides to threathen someone that Chuck really cares about a lot and that is Blair Waldorf. At the fundraiser party, "someone" calls Blair and says that Chuck is in trouble and that he called for Blair and that he wants to jump off the building. That "someone" is Russell Thorpe because when she is on the top of the building, she sees noone but Russell Thorpe coming towards her, uh oh ....

• Then we have Charlie, she is still trying to get Dan.  Rufus tells her that her mother called and that she asked if she got her medicine that she needs, she says that she didn't have time to do it yet and that she will go and buy it now, then he says that that is not necesarry because he already bought it for her and gives her the pills. When she is preparing to go to the engagement party first, she doesn't know what to wear or how to do her hair, she asks Serena a lot of questions like what do you prefer, lipstick or lipgloss. Serena says that she should calm down with all the questions and answers all her questions one by one and she also says that Charlie looks great with her hair loose. When Serena leaves, Charlie does the opposite with her hair and wants to have it in ponytail like Serena had on a picture when she danced with Dan when they were together. At the engagement party, Serena sees that she is wearing a dress of her and tells Charlie that she could have asked if she wanted to borrow a dress of her. Charlie then says that it's not her dress but that she bought the dress herself. Charlie feels humiliated and Dan defends her by saying to Serena that she does have a lot of dresses. They leave the pary early and prepare themselves to go to the evening party at Constance. Her mother calls her during this episode and is worried when her daughter Charlie tells her that she is going to a fundraiser party and that she found an amazing dress, Charlie tells her mother that she is fine but she throws away her medicine in the bin. Rufus discovers her medicine in the bin later and we also see Serena & Vanessa talking to each other about how Charlie did the same thing to Serena as she did to Vanessa. Rufus tells them that last time that Charlie was happy she also didn't take her pills and that it turned out really bad. They all look worried now. In the evening, Charlie and Dan go to the fundraiser party at Constance and suddenly Charlie wants to do it with Dan on a table in a room after he tells her that he was never really a bad boy at high school but more like a goodie goodie boy. During the intimate moment, Charlie tells Dan to call her Serena, like what the? This surprises Dan in a weird way of course and tells her that it's better to stop and that she should put her dress back on. Blair sees Charlie coming out of the door and asks her to keep an eye on the prince because she has been told to see Chuck as he asked for her.
