Movie review : "Pirates Of The Carribean : On Stranger Tides"

Yesterday I went to see the 4th movie of Pirates Of Carribean which is "On Stranger Tides" and I liked it! Of course, the first one will always be the best in my opinion but this one wasn't bad either I found.

It starts off by some seamen finding a weird thing in their net, they soon discover it's an old man with something in his hand, some kind of booklet with things written in it. The seamen go to the Spaniards and tell them that they caught a man who has something in his hands. The Spaniards find out that he was looking for the fountain of youth.
In the next scene, we see Gibbs who is being mistaken for Jack Sparrow in court. The judge who comes to judge him is noone else but Jack Sparrow and only Gibbs sees it, the rest falls for it. Gibbs escapes the punishment to be hanged and gets life long instead. Jack Sparrow leaves, puts off his judge wig and gives it back to the real judge who was locked up in a room the whole time, LOL.
Jack Sparrow and Gibbs leave with a carriage and Jack Sparrow says that in 10 minutes they will be able to leave London because he bribed the driver but as soon as they arrive it seems that the driver was bribed by someone else as well and they are being held hostage by English guards. Jack Sparrow meets King George from England. King George wants him to find the fountain of youth but of course as it is Jack Sparrow, he tries to find a way to escape and succeeds.
The English guards chase him in town and then at least he is being saved by his father. They talk in a local pub about Jack Sparrow wanting to find the fountain of youth and then suddenly his father is dissapeared. Jack Sparrow hears about a certain person impersonating Jack Sparrow. He finds that person and apparently it seems to be his love from the past Angelica (Penélope Cruz). She is recruiting people for her trip to the fountain of youth and together with Jack Sparrow she goes looking for the fountain of youth. We also find out that she is the daughter of Black Beard. Black Beard is almost dying because apparently a prophecy says that he will be killed by a one legged man which is Captain Barbossa.

Furthermore, I won't tell more, you have to look for yourselves if they get to the fountain of youth or not and what will happen and so on.
One thing I really thought was awesome were the evil mermaids, they were amazing.
If you're a fan of "The Pirates Of The Carribean" and/or Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow, go and check it out because the usual Jack Sparrow humor is just great. Just love the way he says "savvy", haha. The ending is great. I liked Penélope Cruz in this movie by the way, she did a great job! She was even pregnant during the making of this movie so well done!
I would give this movie a 7.5/10
