Movie review : Puss In Boots
I know that I said that I won't have much time to post this month because of several reasons but it might happen that I do post from time to time.
Tonight I went to the movies to see "Puss In Boots" (in 3D). Puss In Boots is my favourite Shrek character, I adored him from the first moment that I saw him in Shrek.
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the movie, I was afraid that it would be a cheap sequel from the Shrek movies but it was really good I found, a fun movie! As I adore cats, the movie was all the more fun to me, the way they did the spinning noises like cats always do was great, the fact that they made Puss In Boots drink a glass of milk in a bar, they let Puss In Boots chase after a light ... They have portrayed cats so well in this movie, I loved all the scenes with the cats in it. In the movie you see a cat bar, it's awesome, haha and there is this one cat which has this one certain line, 'ohw' or something like that, it's so funny.
To try to summarise the story short without revealing too much, it's about Puss In Boots having a mission. His goal is to find magical beans that he once was searching with his friend Humpty Alexander Dumpty but who later betrayed him (you'll see how and how they met each other in the movie through a flashback). He meets another cat who has a mask on and is also after the magical beans. They both don't manage to get them from Jack & Jill who are portrayed as a couple that everyone is afraid of in town because they are so big and mean. Puss In Boots finds out that the masked cat is a woman and as you can guess, the Catzanova that he is, he falls for her (and she falls for him as time goes on). Later he meets Humpty Alexander Dumpty at the cat bar which he hasn't seen in years since Humpty betrayed him. Humpty asks for forgiveness and asks him to join him in the mission that they once had, to find the magical beans and then to find the golden eggs which are in a castle all the way in the sky where a giant used to live. From there on, the story starts ...
My rating: 7.5/10. I really had to laugh a lot of times and I said a lot of times 'ahw' or 'so adorable' (especially when you Puss In Boots as a cute small kitten and when he does the cute eyes look). I really recommend it if you liked the Shrek movies, especially if you're a fan of the character Puss In Boots and if you have a big love for cats and/or have cats of your own because you recognize some of the thing that cats do in this movie. One of my favourite scenes is when Puss In Boots is duelling Kitty by a dance contest and he says to her "oh no, you didn't do the catlitter dance", it's hilarious or when Kitty says to Puss In Boots "that's a lot of heels for a guy, isn't it", haha.

Besides Puss In Boots, I have another favourite cat character which is Kitty!
