Movies I want to see
There are many movies that I want to see that either recently have been released in the cinemas or that still have to come out. Here is the list.
1) Snow White and the Huntsman (starring Kristen Stewart & Charlize Theron)
A modern version of the Snow White story, with a twist to it. I think Kristen Stewart with her pale skin is well chosen for the role of Snow White. I like the fact that Charlize Theron plays in it, she plays in one of my favourite movies "Sweet November" and I think she is a great actress.
In a twist to the fairy tale, the Huntsman ordered to take Snow White into the woods to be killed winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen.
Release date in Belgium: 30 May 2012
2) Mirror Mirror (starring Julia Roberts)
Another version of the Snow White story and one of my favourite actresses Julia Roberts plays the evil queen, can't wait to see her play that role.
An evil queen steals control of a kingdom and an exiled princess enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright.
Release date in The Netherlands (couldn't find the one from Belgium but I think it will be about the same): 22 March 2012
3) My Week with Marilyn (starring Michelle Williams & Emma Watson)
This movie looks interesting to me because it's about Marilyn Monroe and of course because Emma Watson plays in it, I think she is a great actress but so is Michelle Williams.
Colin Clark, an employee of Sir Laurence Olivier's, documents the tense interaction between Olivier and Marilyn Monroe during production of The Prince and the Showgirl.
Release date in Belgium : 7 March 2012
4) Into The White (starring Rupert Grint)
It's a Norwegian production but I just want to see it because Rupert Grint is in it, hehe and it's a true story. Besides that, it looks like an interesting movie actually.
English and German pilots shoot each other down, and later find themselves at the same cabin. In order to survive the tough winter in the Norwegian wilderness they have to stand together. It's the start of a long and unlikely friendship.
I could only find the release date in Norway: 9 March 2012
5) From The Rough (starring Tom Felton)
To be honest, I mostly want to watch this because of Tom Felton. Gotta support my favourite actors ;-)
The coach of a women's swim team parlays her success into an opportunity to build her school's men's golf team.
Release date: It was originally going to be released in October 2011 but it got pushed back to early 2012.
6) The Woman In Black (starring Daniel Radcliffe)
The first post Potter project of Daniel Radcliffe (besides his Broadway show in NYC). It's fun to see him without glasses for the first time in a movie. The movie looks really exciting to me, I like these kind of movies which have mysterious storylines.
Young lawyer Arthur Kipps travels to a remote village to organize a recently deceased client's papers, where he encounters the ghost of a scorned woman set on vengeance.
Release date Belgium: 7 March 2012
7) Puss In Boots (starring Antonio Banderas & Salma Hayek)
Do I really need to comment about this? Puss In Boots? My favourite character of Shrek? A movie about a cartoon cat which looks adorable and is funny at the same time? I'm a cat lover, I think I said enough. And oh, there is a female cat in this movie voiced by Selma Hayek, hurray for cats.
A story about the events leading up to the sword fighting cat's meeting with Shrek and his friends.
Release date in Belgium: 7 December 2011

Wow! Wat een te gekke films. Volgens mij ben ik net zo'n filmfreak als jij. Puss in Boots lijkt me ook geweldig. Eigenlijk alle films wel. Julia Roberts is ook een van mijn favoriete actrices en ze blijft gewoon zo mooi en volgens mij helemaal naturel.. met een touch of make-up maar dat geldt bijna voor iedereen ;-)
mirror mirror lijkt me wel gaaf :D
Puss in boots wil ik ook zien :)
Haha, Puss Boots. xD Ik wil de film met Tom Felton wil ik ook wel zien. Het lijkt mij een goede film. :)
I'm so in for all of those! They look great! A little afraid of Dan's movie but my friends have been obsessed with it after watching the trailer, so i better get used to it XD
