Photo report: Christmas market in Brussels, Belgium
The Christmas market has been opened since the 25th of November and will be open until the 1st of January. This year the guest country is Greece so on a separate square they have all kinds of stalls with Greek food, special herbal tea that comes from Greece but there is also one tea sort that has species that it is only found on Crete. It's basically a whole square that has stalls with Greece related products. I have also seen Greek people doing the Sertaki dance, so fun to see. It makes me want to go back to the Greek islands. I have been to Crete, Rhodes, Kos & Mykonos in the past but not Greece itself though, would like to someday. Have any of you been there or the Greek islands?
Then this year something new was added, a ski slope of 150 metres long. Pretty cool actually. This will be open until the 25th of December. And also they have added a small (temporary) H&M that is very near the Christmas market, especially aimed at Christmas.

Have any of you been to this Christmas market yet or any other Christmas markets in the world? If so, which ones?

3 sorts of herbal tea which are good for the health they told us, the one on in the middle is more expensive because the species in that herbal tea are only found on Crete. We bought two of them in the very beginning which are Dictamnus and Malotira. We thought they were pretty good, especially good for the Winter. There is one that is especially good for blood pressure problems, one that is good for the digestion, stomach problems + headache and then there is one that can soothe throat pain + coughing. In general, they are all good for the health they said. In Greece they put honey in it instead of sugar, it seems to help even more when you put honey in it.
This was a pretty good musician, he is called Vincent van Hessen, comes from Amsterdam but had to work in Brussels. He has a YouTube channel which is http://www.youtube.com/user/Vincemeancookie . He sang songs like "Golden Brown", "Hey there Delilah" and "Halleluja".
This is one of his videos from his channel:

Such a great "festival"! We used to have those here as well but...heh!
And so many greek things! I always find it weird how people are into them.
Ziet er super gezellig uit!
