Harry Potter shoplog

Since the Harry Potter movies have ended, I have been more into Harry Potter than ever but remember what J.K. Rowling said in July at the Deathly Hallows : Part 2 premiere "Whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home". Anyway, I have shopped some Harry Potter things the last couple of weeks. Take a look. Warning though, there are a lot of photos, couldn't help it ;-)

"Harry Potter : Film Wizardy", when I saw this for the first time I knew I had to get it because of the design. There is so much details in it and fun extra's like the Hogwarts letter that Harry received in the first movie and the Marauder's map and many other things. I bought it at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Harry-Potter-Film-Wizardry-Warner/dp/0593066480 . The books are always so much cheaper at Amazon compared to the book stores here, really happy with that. I am almost done with reading the book and I really found everything so interesting to read. I would say it is a must-have for the Harry Potter fans, especially if you like these kind of books. It's mostly about how each movie was made but they also talk about the characters, how Hogwarts was made etc.

Second book I got from Amazon is called "Harry Potter. From page to screen . The complete filmmaking journey" and it was released recently, namely on the 25th of October, got it here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Harry-Potter-Screen-Bob-McCabe/dp/0857687751/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1322406353&sr=8-1 . When I picked my book up, I thought I had ordered more than one book, it was so heavy! It looks like a Harry Potter dictionary, haha but it looks amazing really, with amazing photos, never seen before photos, great art concepts, here they also talk about how the movies were made and much more. Also a must-have for Harry Potter fans I have to say, it's one of those books that you treasure for a long time and that looks great on your bookshelf. It's 32.6 x 24.8 x 4.6 cm and it has more than 500 pages, that says a lot, doesn't it, it's just an amazing book. So happy & proud to have it in my book collection now.

And then there is a book review of the book that you can watch beneath

Then I got the complete Harry Potter books collection and I'm so happy with it, I like the children's versions a lot more because of the covers than the other versions you find on the internet or in the book shops these days. I could only find the children's version on Amazon. It's this one I got http://www.amazon.co.uk/Harry-Potter-Boxed-Set-Childrens/dp/0747593698/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1322411366&sr=8-14

Then I got this cute set which has a bookmark and a pen in a shop that has all kinds of things such as comic books but also some merchandise of Harry Potter, the bookmark has Hermione on it and the pen is based on the wand of Hermione

Then a cool Marauder's map that you can hang on your wall which I got at The Gator shop in The Netherlands and you can also shop online at http://www.gator.nl/nl/

And as last, two DVD's at The Free Record Shop but I have the complete Harry Potter DVD collection on my wishlist and as plan B I will try to save for it

Are any of you also a big Harry Potter fan like me and if so, do you have any merchandise?

Xoxo
